All Use Microwave Oven

5-Minute Chocolate Mug Cake
 
4 Tablespoons sugar
4 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 egg
3 Tablespoons milk
3 Tablespoons oil
3 Tablespoons chocolate chips, optional
Small splash of vanilla
Add dry ingredients to a mug and mix well.  Add egg and mix thoroughly.  Pour in milk and oil and mix well.  Add the chocolate chips, if using, and vanilla and mix again.  Put mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts.  The cake will rise over the top of the mug.  Allow to cool a little.

Omelet in a Mug

(Maybe you have some of that packaged precooked bacon in the refrigerator.)
 
1 Tablespoon butter or margarine.
1 Tablespoon milk or water
1 to 2 eggs
1 dash of pepper
1 dash of salt
1 slice bacon, cooked
Shredded cheese
 
Place butter in microwave-safe mug and heat on high 30 to 45 seconds, or until butter is melted.  Add egg(s), milk, salt, and pepper.  Stir or whip with a fork.
Microwave 1 egg on high 35 to 45 seconds; 2 eggs 1-1/4 to 1-3/4 minutes, or until eggs begin to set, stirring with fork to break apart after half of the time.
Remove eggs when they are still soft and moist.  Let stand about 2 minutes.
While eggs are standing, crumble bacon and add to eggs.
Add cheese, if desired.  Eggs will firm up while standing.

Peach Cobbler in a Mug

1 Tablespoon butter or margarine
2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
2 Tablespoons flour
1 Tablespoon instant nonfat dry milk
1/8 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
Dash of salt
2 Tablespoons water
1 (4-ounce) snack-size container of diced peaches, well drained
 
Microwave 1 tablespoon butter or margarine in mug until melted, about 20 seconds on high power.  Combine sugar, flour, instant dry milk, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and water; add to cup.  Stir with a fork until well blended.  Add well-drained peaches on top of batter.  Do not stir.  Microwave for 2 minutes on 70 percent power.  Let stand in microwave for 1 minute.  Remove from oven and let stand until cool enough to eat.

Pecan Pie in a Mug

1-1/2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
3 Tablespoons finely chopped pecans
3 Tablespoons brown sugar, packed
1 Tablespoon flour
2 teaspoons egg white powder
½ Tablespoon instant nonfat dry milk
1/8 teaspoon vanilla powder (optional)
1/16 teaspoon baking powder
Dash of salt
3 Tablespoons of water
 
Microwave butter or margarine in mug until melted, about 20 seconds on high power.
Add remaining ingredients and stir with a fork until blended.
Microwave on 60 percent power for 2 minutes.  Let stand 1 to 2 minutes.  Remove from oven and let stand until cool enough to eat.
NOTE:  1 egg equals 2 Tablespoons egg powder and 2 Tablespoons warm water.  Adjust the recipes accordingly.

1-1/2 tablespoons butter or margarine
¼ cup granulated sugar
3 Tablespoons flour
2 Tablespoons semisweet chocolate chips
1 Tablespoon unsweetened cocoa
1 Tablespoon finely chopped pecans, optional
1-1/2 teaspoons egg white powder
¼  teaspoon vanilla powder, optional
1/8 teaspoon baking powder
Dash of salt
1-1/2 tablespoons water
 
Microwave butter or margarine in a mug until melted, 20 seconds on high power.
Add remaining ingredients, stirring with a fork until blended.
Microwave on 60 percent power for 2 minutes.  Let stand in microwave 1 minute.
Remove from oven and let stand until cool enough to eat.

Cocoa and Peanut Butter Cake in a Mug

4 Tablespoons flour
3 Tablespoons Splenda
1 Tablespoon cocoa
1/8 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoons peanut butter
1 medium egg
4 Tablespoons milk
1 Tablespoon oil
¼ tablespoon vanilla extract
 
Put all ingredients in a mug.  Mix hard.  Cook in microwave for 3 minutes.
